Buying from XAC

The questions that come up before a first order: who we are, what we need to quote, and how goods actually leave China.

Q1. Are you a manufacturer?

No. XAC is a supplier and distributor. Production happens at a fixed group of Chinese factories we have worked with for years, and any factory audit is carried out at the factory. What we add is selection, English communication, inspection before shipment and one point of contact from quotation to delivery.

Q2. Can you quote from a BOQ, drawings or photographs?

Yes. Send the BOQ line, the drawing or even a photo of the space. We come back with a model, a unit price and a lead time for each line, and we say so when a line cannot be met as specified.

Q3. Which ports do you ship from?

Shandong production ships from Qingdao; Guangdong production ships from Yantian. If a project mixes both, we consolidate before shipment and tell you which port the container leaves from.

Q4. Can you supply items that are not listed on this site?

Often yes. The catalogue covers the lines we quote most, not everything we can source. If an item sits outside those lines, we usually tell you who does make it.

Q5. What do you need in order to quote a system?

Point counts or a room schedule, a floor plan or BOQ, and the constraints that decide the model: ceiling height, existing cabling, indoor or outdoor, and the destination port. A marked-up drawing is usually faster than a written specification.

Send the project details and we will answer with the model, the price and the lead time — or say plainly that it is outside what we supply.
